Commissioning
Commissioning is where projects either succeed or stall. Our team has done it across power generation, oil & gas, water and petrochemical plants.
How we work
Scope covers pre-commissioning checks, energisation, mechanical and electrical commissioning, system integration, performance testing against guarantees, operator training, documentation handover, and warranty period support.
We bring commissioning engineers with experience on the platforms you operate — Siemens, ABB, GE, Emerson, Honeywell, Yokogawa DCS / SCADA / PLC systems — and we work in parallel with your operations team so day-one operation is in safe hands.
What you receive.
Common questions about Commissioning.
What pre-commissioning checks do you run?+
Mechanical completion verification, piping flushing and pressure testing, electrical loop checks, instrument calibration, motor solo runs, vendor representative attendance for specialised equipment. The pre-commissioning punch list drives the commissioning schedule, so any pre-commissioning slip is visible to the operator at the daily meeting.
How do you handle performance testing?+
Guarantee testing against contractual performance criteria (throughput, efficiency, emissions, utility consumption), plant integrated performance test, reliability run-in for the specified hours. Test reports formatted to the operator's QMS standards; specialist witnesses — third-party labs, certification bodies — attend as the contract requires.
What's the scope of operator training?+
Classroom training on platform fundamentals (DCS, PLC, HMI), hands-on training with shift operators across all rotations, train-the-trainer for the operator's internal team to roll forward. Typically 6-12 weeks per shift team for a complex unit. Training materials are handed over so the operator can refresh new starters.
What does handover documentation include?+
Red-line drawings, as-built P&IDs, equipment manuals, calibration certificates, training records, warranty certificates, spare-parts list, software backups, OT cybersecurity baseline. All formatted to the operator's QMS standards and indexed in the document-control system.
What warranty period support do you provide?+
Typically 12-24 months. We respond to warranty calls within agreed SLAs (typically 4 hours first response, 48 hours on-site for major issues), perform root-cause analysis, and manage warranty replacements with the manufacturers. Warranty disputes go through a formal root-cause / fault-attribution review.
Which automation platforms do your commissioning engineers cover?+
Siemens (S7, PCS 7, TIA Portal), ABB (800xA), Schneider (Modicon, EcoStruxure), Emerson (DeltaV), Honeywell (Experion), Yokogawa (CENTUM VP). For each platform we field engineers carrying the platform's certification. For less common platforms we partner with manufacturer-authorised commissioning specialists.
