Construction
On-site construction execution for energy projects across MENA — civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, all to international standards.
How we work
We mobilise construction teams either as direct staff or via vetted local contractors with our supervisors on site. Scope covers site preparation, civil works, structural steel, mechanical equipment installation, piping fabrication and erection, electrical works (HV / MV / LV), instrumentation and control system installation, and pre-commissioning checks.
Safety is non-negotiable. Every site operates to ISO 45001 occupational health and safety standards, with full HSE planning, daily toolbox talks, and incident-free programmes that hold up to client audit.
What you receive.
Common questions about Construction.
Do you self-perform construction or subcontract?+
Both. Mechanical equipment installation, piping, instrumentation, and electrical termination are typically self-performed. Civil works, structural steel erection, and site preparation are subcontracted to vetted local contractors with our supervisors on site. The mix protects schedule on critical-path scope while controlling cost on commoditised activities.
What HSE standards do you operate to?+
ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 across every site. Daily toolbox talks, JSA process, permit-to-work integration with operator systems, recordable-injury programme. We sign on to the operator's HSE management system rather than running a parallel one, so reporting flows into the operator's dashboards rather than creating reconciliation overhead.
What HV / MV electrical scope can you do?+
Up to 132 kV. Termination, switchgear assembly, cable pulling and termination, transformer installation, oil filling and Doble testing, protection relay configuration and testing. Above 132 kV we partner with specialist transmission contractors.
Do you do brownfield work alongside operating units?+
Yes — hot tie-ins, shutdown turnarounds, piggyback on operating-asset constraints. The PTW process and JSA discipline match the operator's standards. Brownfield work needs more upfront planning than greenfield — typically 6-8 weeks of constructability review and operator coordination before mobilisation.
Who's on a typical site engineering team?+
Project director, construction manager, discipline supervisors (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, civil), QC inspectors, HSE officers, document controller, plus a commercial and change-management lead. Headcount scales with scope — a small package install might be 8 people, a refinery turnaround can be 80+.
How do you handle local-content / nationalisation requirements?+
Saudization, Emiratisation, Iraqi labour content, Algerian and Egyptian local-content laws all factor into crew composition. We structure the site team to meet each jurisdiction's rules and report against the operator's reporting templates so there are no audit surprises at month-end.
